Accepting New CommissionsBelow are the types of commissions accepted and pricing for each. The thumbnail opens up into a full image. These are basic examples; if you want something different, please contact me and we can discuss your request.
Commissions work as follows:
I will create a drawing of your character or avatar from your RPG, MMORPG, journal, web site, etc. If in Pencil, Inked Lineart, Colored Pencil, or Marker, the drawing will be on 11x14 quality bristol board, signed, and suitable for framing. If Flat Color, Cel-Shaded, or Full Digital Color, it will be printed on high-quality 8.5 x 11 glossy paper. I retain no rights to the pic or character, so it's yours to do with as you please. Commissions are now open, and upon the finalization of the agreement, pics will take up to three weeks to be completed. Requests are first come, first serve.
I accept PayPal and US Money Orders. Do not send payment until I have accepted your request and have given you the total. The price includes Priority Mail shipping.
Please check out the sample pics for an example of my style. Chances are your drawing will look very much like something in this vein. I agree to do one character, full-body in a fairly static pose, wearing clothes of your choice. If you have specific armor or weapons in mind, I may need for you to provide reference images (web links to images are fine). I may take some minor artistic liberties, such as simplifying a complex fabric design, but I will try to incorporate as many requests as possible into the drawing.
Once I start on the piece, I'll send you up to two scans of the pic to show you how it's progressing. I will retain a hi-res scanned copy for my portfolio.
Please note that I can only do commissions for your OWN ORIGINAL CHARACTERS. I will NOT draw:
Fanart of existing characters (i.e., Sephiroth, Vegeta, or the elf girl from the cover of EverQuest)* SEE BELOW FOR EXCEPTIONS
Portraits of real people (i.e., Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Paris Hilton)
Pornographic poses and full nudity--though minor nudity and/or a suggestive pose MIGHT be considered if it's absolutely essential to the character concept
I WILL draw:
The character you play in your tabletop RPG
Your personal avatar from games like Ragnarok Online, EverQuest, or Horizons
A "personification" of your screen name, provided it reflects you personally somehow and isn't, for instance, "Someone who looks JUST LIKE SEPHIROTH"
Your forum RPG character/avatar (from sites like GaiaOnline)
An original character from a story you wrote.
A specifically requested character of mine (for instance, Neelie in a different pose).
*NEW: I will draw certain fanart characters; please ask me if you have someone specific in mind and I'll see what I can do. I am doing this as a trial. I may change this rule depending on how comfortable I am with the assignment. For instance, if you are participating in a Hellsing (anime) roleplay, and you want me to draw Alucard dressed as a pirate because that's how your character is being played, I can do that. I take it on a case by case basis.
